Mission:
- Within a matrix organization, the candidate will transition technical knowhow into sales opportunities. Drive technical approvals (including OEM), technical support work including intense customer interactions to translate customer requirements into profitable sales opportunities for Lubricant Additives Business (LAB) across the product range. Define promotional story lines for sales team in coordination with Application Technology, Business Development & Regional Sales Account Managers to develop winnable value propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical service projects which includes new product development, complaint resolution, raw material approval, existing product introduction etc.
- Provide technical product information, updates, and technical training to the Sales teams as well as customers. Active in product development together with Application Technology
- Collect and analyze market and competitors data.
- Maintain a wide network with external authorities, research institutes and governmental organization.
- Provide technical expertise to the management team in terms of technical strategic growth perspective within the business.
Qualification & Requirement
- Degree in chemical / chemical engineering or equivalent discipline.
- 5-10 years relevant industry experience, prefer to candidates with very good understanding of lubricant additives / metal working oil formulation.
- Excellent communication and effective project management skills.
- Keep abreast on the technical development and strategic growth in the ASEAN region.
- Prefer to Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
