StriveX is partnering with a regional Corporate Bank who is looking for a Relationship Manager to join their Corporate Banking team. This person should possess prior relationship management experience, with primarily corporate banking coverage as preference.
Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing clients
- Prepare and present credit proposals to the credit committee for approval
- Perform due diligence checks on new to bank clients
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations, and product specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services to clients
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact clients businesses
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies
- Monitor and manage the performance of the client portfolio, including regular reviews and reporting
Job Requirements
- Degree Holder
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in corporate banking
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products - ideally bilateral loans and syndication participation
- Strong credit analysis and cash flow projections
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
