The Client is a global aerospace company.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and develop new repair methods for aero-engine components.
- Create and uphold work instructions for repairing aero-engine components.
- Conduct tooling design.
- Ensure adherence to OEM technical data and regulatory standards.
- Handle process certification, conduct root cause analysis, and enhance process robustness and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the production team in repair development.
- Engage in and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Juggle various engineering-related responsibilities as needed.
- Abide by all company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aeronautical Engineering is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul setting.
- Familiarity with repair processes like Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot Peening, Machining, etc., will be advantageous.
- Highly motivated professional capable of working within a cross-functional team.
