Job Description for Data Scientist (Research Analyst)
Health Services and Outcomes Research (HSOR) is a multi-disciplinary health services research department in National Healthcare Group (NHG) that provides decision support, evaluates programs and studies health behaviour. Aim: To be a Research Analyst (entry level) in Health Services Research (HSR) and be part of a Data Science & Operations Research team.
Qualification: A degree in Data Science, preferably a Masters in related fields. Strong and flexible in application of fundamentals of mathematics, probability & statistics and computer science; has good knowledge of programming in Python or R. Having a background in biology in high school/JC will be an advantage. Fresh graduates may apply.
Role: Process and analyse large healthcare databases to draw insightful results from descriptive, explanatory, predictive modelling and simulation. Experiment with generative AI for applications in analytics, productivity and healthcare.
You are creative and curious to continue learning the wide field of HSR analytics covering population epidemiology, healthcare cost, utilization and disease progression. You are self-driven with a hands-on approach who delivers, with guidance from team.
