Job Description:
This role focuses on conducting research, analyzing data, designing evaluation frameworks, collaborating on program development, and training staff to implement evidence-based practices. The emphasis on literature reviews, data analysis, and staying current with trends further supports this classification.
Job Responsibilities:
- Literature Reviews and Research: Conduct thorough reviews of existing literature and research to identify best practices applicable to our service areas.
- Service Analysis: Evaluate current services, using evidence and data to pinpoint areas needing improvement.
- Evaluation Frameworks: Create and apply frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of existing programs.
- Program Development: Work with various services to co-create new program models or enhance current ones using evidence-based insights and research.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports to management and stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Staff Training: Lead training sessions for staff on evidence-based practices and data-driven decision-making.
- Resource Development: Source and develop resources and tools to assist staff in applying research-informed methods.
- Research Updates: Keep abreast of the latest research and trends in social services and share relevant knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum with a Degree in Arts/Social Work/ Business Admin or equivalent in any discipline
- At least 3 years of experience and strong knowledge in social sciences and research methodologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player and able to work independently
