The National Institute of Education, Office of Education Research, invites suitable applications for the position of Research Assistant on a 12-month (renewable) contract. The research project intends to examine the effect of data literacy professional development on teachers outcomes, namely knowledge and beliefs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related disciplines
- Good theoretical knowledge of research designs in general
- Preferably with working experience in research project and familiar with research methods
- Experience with conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and able to work within given deadlines
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Be a good team player
- A self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed
Responsibilities
- Conduct participant recruitment and collect data
- Conduct literature scans to support research and perform research analysis
- Manage project-related administrative work
- Write/prepare research reports, publications and presentation materials independently
- Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions
- Other research and project management tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI)
