Chugai Pharmabody Research Pte. Ltd. (CPR) was established in Singapore as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (Chugai), a member of Roche group, in January 2012 and started operations on July 2, 2012. Located at Biopolis in Singapore, it aims to generate new antibody drugs based on Chugai's proprietary antibody engineering technologies, such as recycling antibody, sweeping antibody, bispecific antibody, various Fc engineered antibodies, and other new antibody engineering technologies that are under development.
Position - Research Assistant in Pharmacology (PC1) Unit
Job Scope:
. Tool generation - Expression vector construction and molecular cloning, protein labelling, stable cell line development
. Drug screening - ELISA, Flow cytometry, Cell-based functional assay, Microscopy, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, qPCR etc.
. Cell culture - Suspension cell culture and adherent cell culture, 3D cell culture models such as spheroid, tumoroids, Primary cell culture.
. Lab management
Requirements:
. Degree in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Molecular Biotechnology or a related field with at least 1-2 years of related working experience in either an industry or academia setting.
. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
. Familiar with basic laboratory procedures especially mammalian cell culture and In vitro cellular assays.
. Experience in Molecular Biology, 3D cell culture, Cell engineering, Primary cell isolation, Flow cytometry, Microscopy, NGS analysis and other relevant skills will be an added advantage.
. Experience in In vivo sample handling experience is a plus.
