Responsibilities
- Ingest and curate laws and regulations into a structured format for use in LLMs
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to ensure the legal fidelity of the model's outputs
- Analyze and identify gaps or challenges in representing legal rules and principles as datasets
- Contribute to discussions on the jurisprudential aspects of legal data representation
- Provide legal expertise to guide the development of AI systems in compliance with Singaporean law
Qualifications
- Singapore law degree (LL.B. or higher) is essential
- Strong understanding of Singapore's legal framework
- Interest in jurisprudence and the theoretical foundations of law
- Familiarity with AI technologies and an eagerness to explore how law can be integrated into machine learning models
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Prior experience or interest in legal informatics, legal data representation, or law and technology is an advantage.
- Prior experience in conducting research work will be preferred
