. Assist CAG research projects and activities, and support CAG Senior Research Fellows and Faculty Associates in their research projects
. Prepare background briefs, presentations, and track specific issues
. Conduct independent research, and write academic and policy research papers and reports
. Compile and manage research materials and products
. Provide editorial and management support to research projects, events, and publications
. Organise and support CAG events, including academic and policy conferences and workshops
. Undertake other administrative duties related to research projects such as managing correspondence and filing
. Support CAG public engagement including social media content management and website maintenance
. A Master's degree holder in a discipline within the social sciences and/or humanities
. Expertise or interests in any of the following:
o China-India relations
o Asian politics and international relations, including great power politics and Southeast Asian regional politics
o Applicants with other areas of interests will also be considered if relevant to CAG research focus
. Strong analytical ability and strong self-motivation
. Able to work independently
. An ability to engage with research and policy communities in Asia and around the world
. A strong sense of collegiality
. Excellent spoken and written English
. Ability/experience with social media content management tools
. At least 2-3 years of experience in academic research
