Our department is looking for a Research Associate with a strong technical background to contribute to the Development of GaN Power Amplifier Beyond 100GHz project, driving research in high-frequency technology.
This role will support NTU's efforts in advancing innovation within wireless communication and electronic systems, specifically through the application of GaN technology in frequencies beyond 100GHz. We seek a team member who can work collaboratively toward this research goal and contribute meaningfully to the future of communication standards and industry growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Responsible for designing, developing, and testing GaN power amplifiers for applications beyond 100GHz, focusing on high performance and reliability.
- Optimization and Modeling: Formulate and optimize advanced modeling techniques and wideband matching networks to achieve high gain and linearity at ultra-high frequencies.
- Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Work closely with cross-functional teams and troubleshoot circuit performance, implementing adjustments to meet technical benchmarks.
- Documentation and Innovation: Document findings, present research progress, and stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into the project.
Job Requirements
- Masters in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 2-3 years relevant experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Analog Integrated circuit design, RF and microwave engineering, or millimeter wave circuit and system.
- Knowledge and/or experience in using tools such as Cadence, ADS, HFSS, Matlab, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and also in a team environment.
- Entry Level candidates with strong interest in high frequency circuits and systems will also be considered.
