Research Associate

Objectives:

Implement projects to genetically modify microorganisms, includingimprovements to existing Company mutants as well as generating new product prototypes

• Perform research duties including molecular cloning, microbial genetic manipulation, high-throughput protein expression screening, mammalian cell experiments, and activity assays of recombinant products
• Perform laboratory duties, including culture vessel cleaning, pipette tip preparation, documentation, inventory, ordering, etc
• Participate in project management
• Perform in silico genetic construct and protein design
• Perform literature research
• Mentor interns.

Requirements:

Essential is experience with molecular cloning, E coli genetic modification, PCR.
