JOB SUMMARY
You will support the development of the research methodology for the project and oversee the data collection and analysis (including qualitative and quantitative data), conduct program evaluation and research activities as well as prepare reports for monitoring of project progress and the final report after conclusion of the pilot.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all study practices and procedures (e.g., screening, recruitment, follow-up, specimen taking, data entry) are conducted in accordance with the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice, other applicable regulatory / ethical requirements, standard operating procedures, and hospital policies.
Ensure timely submission of required documents to the Institutional Review Board as needed.
Ensure accurate and complete source documentation, subject logs, subject transport reimbursement logs, and all other pertinent research documents and ensure that they are audit compliant.
Liaise with relevant internal and external agencies to ensure successful implementation of the project evaluation.
Prepare for site visits, audits, etc. by ensuring that all study files are complete and up to date.
Work closely with assigned supervisors to plan for and execute new studies, and implementing these studies efficiently.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisors, principal investigator and HOD, including work areas not mentioned here
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
Degree holder, preferably in Nursing / Biological Sciences / Applied Sciences / Allied Health Disciplines Systems or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work within a team
Meticulous, self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
Proficiency in MS Office applications and statistical software
Experience in healthcare / research is preferred
