Research Engineer (6-month contract), SCIS

Job Description

• Design and implement AI for software engineering solutions
• Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools
• Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences
• Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for release
• Liaise with other team members of this project to realize the overall goal of the project

Qualifications

• Excellent Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems from a top-tier or local university. A Master Degree will be preferred
• Research experience in AI or Software Engineering, resulting in at least one submission/publication in a reputable research venue
• Excellent knowledge about AI
• Highly fluent in programming
• Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
• Able to work under strict deadlines
