A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Engineer I or II to work on Large Language Models for Health. This role requires a passion for innovation, the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, and a commitment to contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in project-based research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and team members/engineers to design and implement LLMs-based conversational agents.
- Assist in data and LLM analysis and conducting experiments for project-based research questions.
- Assist in developing algorithms and models based on existing LLMs to enhance multi-turn conversations, proactive inquiry, and knowledge-guided common-sense reasoning in conversational agents.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree or Bachelor's Degree in computer science/engineering.
- Solid knowledge in Natural Language Processing, LLMs, or conversational AI.
- Proficient in programming languages and frameworks relevant to machine learning, specifically Python and PyTorch.
- Able to test, debug and optimize existing code base and other features.
- Excellent communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
- Relevant publication record in NLP and conversational AI is preferred.
