About Research Department:
The Research Department supports the agencys programmes and services, through evaluations, implementation research, feasibility studies, needs assessment, ground sensing, and primary and secondary research. We also support programme development in terms of writing Theory of Change (TOC), design thinking and evidence synthesis.
We are seeking motivated and independent individuals passionate about making a difference through the use of data to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research, programme evaluations and needs assessments.
Collaborate with practitioners to generate actionable insights to refine and improve existing initiatives.
Drive initiatives that facilitate the use of evidence in programme and service development.
Curate and communicate resources to support data driven decision making within the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in social science disciplines with 3 years of working experience in relevant sectors
Familiarity and experience with research methods and statistics used in social sciences
Experience in planning and conducting research and/or evaluation studies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of human centred design would be advantageous
Independent in executing projects and work tasks
Good listening skills
This position is on Contract basis
