The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in two divisions: Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). MAS covers diverse topics ranging from pure mathematics to the applications of mathematics in cryptography, computing, business, and finance. PAP covers many areas of fundamental and applied physics, including quantum information, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and photonics.
Established together with SPMS, the cryptography research group at the Division of Mathematical Sciences is world leading. Over the years, SPMS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.
Position Available: Research Fellow (Cryptography)
To further enhance the research and education capability in cryptography, our department seeks an experienced researcher to carry out research in applications, and to help teach courses of our Master Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Support research in Cryptography including but not limited to Post-Quantum Cryptography, BlockChain, Privacy-Preserving Technologies
- Assist to supervise research students
- Support the Master of Science in Cyber Security Program, which is expected to take in 100 - 200 student per year
- Carry out research, publish papers, help the team to supervise research students
Job Requirements
- PhD in cryptography
- Experience in research publication at Tier-1 conferences
- Track-record of publications in IACR conferences/workshops
- Teaching experiences
- Postdoc experience will be a plus
