The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on economic sociology
- Collaborate in the collection of datasets
- Conduct sophisticated statistical and econometric analysis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate a wide range of perspectives
- Efficiently synthesize research outcomes and present research findings
- Oversee and manage project timelines and deliverables
- Write research papers/reports based on the research findings
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in Economics with a strong focus on applied and empirical methodologies
- Profound knowledge of game theory and its applications in economic models and decision-making processes
- Proven ability to conduct high-level research in economics, as evidenced by a strong track record of publications and active research projects
- Excellent skills in statistical analysis and econometrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, necessary for writing clear and impactful research papers, reports, and presenting findings
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior experience with LLMs and AI is preferred
