Our department is seeking a dedicated Research Fellow to support the project on A MEMS Enhanced Deep Cryogenic Fully Functional Quantum Gate Interface for Large Scale Quantum Computing. This role will be instrumental in advancing NTU's mission to lead in quantum technology research, specifically in scalable and efficient quantum computing solutions. We are looking for a committed team member who will help drive innovation in MEMS and cryogenic interface development, contributing to foundational advancements in large-scale quantum systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and Development: Conduct research on low-power and millimeter-wave integrated circuits and systems for sensor interfaces, quantum applications, beyond 5G communication, and radar systems.
- Design and Implementation: Develop advanced circuit designs optimized for low power and millimeter-wave performance, ensuring compatibility with sensor and quantum system requirements.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to integrate circuits into sensor and quantum systems, addressing challenges in power efficiency and high-frequency operation.
- Analysis and Documentation: Analyze circuit performance, troubleshoot issues, and document findings in technical reports, contributing to academic publications and project reviews.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
- 3-4 years relevant experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Analog Integrated circuit design, RF and microwave engineering, or millimeter wave circuit and system.
- Knowledge and/or experience in using tools such as Cadence, ADS, HFSS, Matlab, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and also in a team environment.
- Entry Level candidates with strong interest in high frequency circuits and systems will also be considered.
