The team of Prof Loh Kian Ping invites application for a postdoctoral fellow/research fellow working in the theory and computational methods of condensed matter physics and two dimensional (2-D) materials devices. Our research focuses on investigating topological physics in quantum materials, with the aim of controlling potentially exotic properties such as anomalous Hall effect, non-linear Hall effect, magnetism, metal-insulator transitions, and topological properties.
- The candidate should have a PhD in Physics.
- The candidate should have experience working in clean room and familiar with DFT simulation, molecular dynamic simulation, transition state calculation.
- The candidate should have a strong track record in 2-D materials physics, publishing in the area of quantum topology physics concerning 2-D materials, or in the spintronics (spin Hall effect) of 2-D materials.
An attractive renumeration package will be offered for suitable candidate (research fellow) with a strong record in 2-D condensed matter physics and who has good publication record.
