Research Officer, Data Management Platform, IHDP

The A.STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (A.STAR IHDP) focuses on research that aims to improve and impact the health and well-being of Singaporeans across the life course.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Officer to join our Data Management Platform. This is a functional role that combines data archival and data cleaning for major population health studies conducted at the institute.

Job Description:

• Implementation of inventory management and tracking system for offsite archival of study source documents.
• Perform data reconciliations and digitalization of study source documents in hardcopy formats.
• Develop and implement data cleaning scripts to ensure good data quality.
• Generate inventory dashboards to effectively communicate the data archival and data cleaning status.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor/Master Degree in Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
• Good programming skills (Python, R).
• Familiar with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Knowledge/experience on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) guidelines.
• Good team player and communication skills for collaborative research.
• 0 to 5 years experience.
