Research Scientist (18-month contract or contract not beyond 30 June 2026), SCIS

Job Description

• Collect data through web crawling and/or crowdsourcing.
• Implement baseline methods based on previous research papers.
• Implement new methods to improve the performance of large language models.
• Conduct experiments to empirically evaluate different methods.
• Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for publication.

Qualifications

• Minimum PhD degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closelyrelated disciplines.
• Relevant experiences in video processing, analysis, and research.
• Relevant experiences in developing systems for video computing.
• Excellent knowledge in large-scale video processing and search.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in system development and engineering.
• Good skill in computer programming.
• Good knowledge in dataset curation and preparation of dataset for deep learning.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team to researchand engineer challenging problems.
