Job Description
Assist in managing and leading the daily operations of the Reservations Department and support the Reservations team in achieving departmental objectives
Maintains a very good reputation for the Hotel and assists to increase the overall profitability of the Hotel
Responsible for the daily organization of sections
To conduct daily briefings.
To ensure Revenue strategies implemented are followed through.
Responsible for ensuring the team complies with ResaVision standards.
Ensures all reports are completed on time.
Provides guests with the most accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
To ensure all pre-check-in procedures are followed through.
To know how to contact all types of guests (individuals, agencies, companies)
Contributes to overall operational efficiency by performing relevant duties as assigned
To know and use the margins for negotiating prices
Manage the upsell program for the reservations and front desk department.
Strive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
Minimum 2 years experience in hotel Reservations
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera PMS is an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
