Possess a recognized Civil & Structural Engineering degree acceptable for registration with the IES Singapore. Registration with BOA is an added advantage.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience
Possess a complete understanding of local regulations/ codes for building projects, complying with BCA's criteria for buildability and safety assurance systems.
Experience with handling long span steel structures ( 40m)
Possbility of working night shifts
Experience with working in airport site.
Good to have personal transport
Ensure that site works complies with CAG/CAAS regulations.
A good team player with effective communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
Work closely with QP to ensure all regulatory Authorities requirements are complied with and implemented.
Implement and sustain the site supervision quality
Understand and interpret drawings and contract documents, resolve site and technical issues.
Spot and foresee potential issues, preempt abortive works by identifying non-compliance at an early stage, followed by close coordination with QP to resolve the details for timely progress of works.
Carry out regular site checks on contractors and ensure compliance with health and work safety per MOM regulations.
Attend site progress, technical, client-consultant, variation, coordination meetings etc., with the project team and client.
Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as-built submissions etc., are well managed and relayed
