Resident Engineer (RE-C&S)

Responsibility :

• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act, regardless whether their names are stated in the form BEV_B1
• Ensure that all the civil & structural and M&E works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications and the Building Control Act and Regulations
• Lead the RTOs to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, the project consultants, QPs and/or SRE
• Supervise concreting, pavement, drainage construction works (applicable for C&S)
• Carry out checks on compaction and curing of concrete (applicable for C&S)
• Carry out checks on striking of formwork, re-props and removal of props (applicable for C&S)
• Carry out checks on quality & erection of precast components (applicable for C&S)

Qualification:

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 3 years shall be in supervision of works in projects similar in size and complexity in particular deep excavation and foundation, cut and cover tunnel works and building works
• Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
