Plan and carry out meaningful and purposeful programmes and activities to enable residents to learn new things or continue to use their abilities
Help residents experience autonomy by supporting them in their basic activities of daily living (e.g. dressing, meal, toileting, personal hygiene, mobility) through appropriate levels of prompt/cues
Support therapy interventions in the ward to enable residents to optimise their functions in daily living
Perform general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of wards including equipment, furniture and tools, crockery
Meal set up and assist in serving meals and drink to residents
Collaborate with staff in the ward to deliver quality care services to residents (eg. Vital signs taking for residents)
Maintain care excellence through proper documentation of the residents progress
Assist Volunteer Coordinator in collaborating with volunteer and community in running volunteer-supported activities for residents
Job Requirements:
Relevant experience would be an advantage
Entry level is welcome as long as with compassion , caring and thoughtfulness
Advantageous for candidates with WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care)
Able to communicate with team members and maintain good teamwork
Physical fit to handle the needs of care residents
