Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems
To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor's approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
Registered with IES/ ACES as a Resident Technical
Minimum 5 years of M&E work experience with strong knowledge of local construction practices air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, security systems, BMS, plumbing, sanitary and gas services
