Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act, regardless whether their names are stated in the form,
Check mock-ups done on site and off site, where necessary,
Conduct inspection and check as required under Authority Operational and Safety requirements.
Conduct compliance check on the implementation of mitigating measures in method statement, risk assessment and DfS register.
Ensure that records of all civil and structural engineering works, mechanical and engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc, are updated in a timely manner and properly kept,
Maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done including records of tests, inspections, status of work, variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, safety, site diary, material on site and equipment on site, labour force, day works, provisional items or provisional quantities etc,
Job Requirements:-
Minimum five (5) years of experience as RTO, of which at least two (2) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to the Works
Diploma in Civil or Structural engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or relevant qualifications.
Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
Have a certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry or equivalent.
Possess good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
