We are excited to welcome a dedicated and experienced individual to the role of Residential Support Coordinator. In this crucial position, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional residential support services for our incoming scholars. Your main objective will be to stay on campus, ensure scholars well-being, safety, and a smooth transition into our residential facilities whilst upkeeping the campus to be vibrant. You will collaborate closely with scholars, their families, and other stakeholders to foster a positive and supportive living environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scholar Routine Care and Support:
- Live in campus with scholars and provide routine care and support, including assistance with meals, waking up, and lights out duties, ensuring scholars well-being and adherence to daily schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee the security, facilities/ cleaning to upkeep and optimise the residential environment for the scholars
Role Modelling and Wellbeing:
- Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and respect, while staying vigilant to ensure scholars safety.
- Offer general emotional support, contributing to a positive living environment for scholars within the residential community, collaborating with other staff members as needed.
Residential Policies and Procedures:
- Communicate, promote, and enforce residential policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence by scholars.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as Scholar Development Executives, Programme, and security, for a holistic approach to scholar support. Build relationships with external partners to enhance residential support services.
Crisis Management:
- Be prepared to handle emergency situations, including fire safety and first aid, following established protocols to ensure the safety of all residents.
Residential Events and Programming:
- Support residential events, activities, and programs that promote community engagement, cultural exchange, and personal growth among scholars.
Administration/Operations and Facilities Support
- Support in procurement, upkeeping of facilities and administration duties for the daily/event operations of the campus.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in residential support or student services is a bonus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, connecting effectively with scholars from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of youth engagement theory and cultural sensitivity
- Demonstrated crisis management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Mandatory to stay on campus, working rotational night and morning shifts, including Sunday evenings, with Friday early dismissal, as required.
