Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Captain to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of service, coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house team, and ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure efficient service flow
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to maintain high-quality service standards
- Greet, seat, and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and positive experiences
- Lead and motivate front-of-house team members to deliver excellent customer service
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Train and mentor new team members on service standards and restaurant policies
- Monitor and manage inventory of service-related items (menus, cutlery, etc.)
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Support the management team in organizing events or special promotions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
