Retail Manager -Fashion retail start up (Singapore based)
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Retail Manager to lead the retail operations in Singapore. As a key member of the startup team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and growing the brand presence in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring that all processes are efficient and aligned with company standards.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing retail team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in line with company objectives.
- Create and maintain a customer-centric environment, ensuring that all team members deliver outstanding service.
- Oversee inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product displays.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to assess performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns to attract customers and increase brand awareness.
- Assist in managing the retail budget, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for the retail industry and a keen understanding of market trends.
- Fluent in English with basic Chinese
