We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Your duties as a Retail Sales Associate will also include operating cash registers, stocking shelves and preparing merchandise for display.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers questions about products/services
- Building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations
- Assisting in maintaining the store room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
- Cross-sell and upsell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Inviting the customer to join a loyalty program if there is one
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Maintaining the store cleanliness
Requirements:
- Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Cheerful working attitude
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to upsell
- Candidate with a few years of sales experiences and visual merchandising experience will be considered for a senior role
- Ability to work under a fast-paced working environment
