Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to shoppers
- Collaborate with coworkers to achieve store sales goals through suggestive selling and special promotions
- Inform patrons about product features and benefits, offering opinions and recommendations when appropriate
- Maintain a tidy shopping environment and welcoming atmosphere
- Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Treat all customers with respect and courtesy
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Answer customer questions and assist with requests
- Be the company's frontline ambassador to uphold company's branding and image
- Provide welcoming customer service and assist customers to enjoy their shopping experience
- Support with retail operations, stock replenishment, inventory management and housekeeping
- Ensure merchandise and displays are neatly arranged
Required skills and qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Competent math skills, including an ability to make change accurately
- Friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in retail sales or customer service
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Ensure merchandise and displays are neatly arranged
- Self-motivated and sales-driven
- Able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
