Retail Team Leader

We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to join our team as a Retail Team Leader to lead a team representing internationally recognised spirits brands like Chivas and Martell, among others, at Changi Airport. Join us now as an attractive remuneration package awaits.

• Role & Responsibilities

Drive sales growth by setting clear targets, analysing sales data, optimising inventory, and ensuring consistent customer experiences in duty-free environments.

• Serve as an ambassador, embodying the brand image through grooming and attitude.

Lead and mentor the team, integrating newcomers and guiding staff to effectively sell the products.

• Maintain comprehensive sales reporting by tracking overall and individual sales performances, identifying trends, and pinpointing areas for improvement.

Manage and coach team members, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback for improvement, and ensuring timely briefings on priorities.

• Monitor and report on new opportunities and competitive activities within the airport environment to support strong brand activations and stay abreast of industry trends.

Ensure adherence to all brand merchandising standards, including installation of promotional materials and visual merchandising setups.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for enhancing brand visibility and sales performance in duty-free shops.

Agile in way of working and able to effectively manage time and multitask.

• Detail-oriented and highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, etc.

Administrative and organisational management.

• Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.

• Minimum NITEC / GCE O Level and above (must be able to provide a copy of the educational certificate).

Willing to work at Changi Airport a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Willing to work weekends and public holidays (5-day work week).

Passion in Travel Retail and/or in the Liquor industry.
