My client is a leading fund platform recognized as Asia's largest and most established institution of its kind, currently managing assets exceeding USD $14 billion. With a steady expansion across various fund structures, including hedge funds, absolute return funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit, they continue to attract significant global demand. To support this growth, they are looking for a skilled Revenue Analyst to drive financial accuracy and contribute strategically to the team's success.
Primary Responsibilities
In this new role reporting to both the CFO and COO, the Revenue Analyst will work closely with senior leadership, focusing on the consolidation and reporting of revenue data. This role supports invoicing and accounts receivable (AR) activities for funds in both public and private markets and involves contributing to special finance projects across departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare AR invoices in line with planned timelines
- Process revenue entries, incorporating necessary accruals and deferrals in the accounting system
- Update and manage schedules for management fees
- Assist in audit queries related to revenue and invoicing
- Address and resolve issues in invoicing as they arise
- Work with the Investment Operations team to adhere to established billing cycles
- Manage collection efforts and monitor aging of accounts receivable
- Input receipts for cash flow reports
- Produce regular revenue reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Support forecasting and budget planning with senior leaders
- Oversee consolidated revenue reports across the organization's entities
- Collaborate with internal counterparts for revenue reporting
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards using Power BI and other tools
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline revenue and invoicing functions
- Participate in system migration and automation projects
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 3-6 years of experience in revenue recognition in Asset Management/PE/VC related industries
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Familiarity with MYOB software is a plus
- Experience with Power BI and SharePoint automation is beneficial
