RF Engineer

RF Engineer (Radio Frequency)

Roles

. Define product specifications. Be. Work closely with team members to be responsible for the hardware design and development of RF components, circuits, and systems.

. Perform Link Budget analysis, and Feasibility study of the key components to be used in a communication system. Identify potential high-risk components and proposed alternatives.

. Perform RF circuits design through the use of EDA simulation tools like AWR Microwave Office and Advance Design System (ADS).

. Work together with the layout designers to generate schematic diagrams and PCB layout design.

. Author relevant technical documents and publications of the new product. Be responsible in the preparations of technical proposals, technical reports, and presentations.

. Conduct module tests and performance verification in accordance to the formulated test plans.

. Coordinate with technical partners and customers in project design and development. Plan and ensure that project is in accordance schedule.

. Support customer on the technical application of the end-product.

Requirements

. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

. 5+ years of design experience in RF transmitter or receiver circuits.

. Proficiency in using RF design tools and measurement equipment.

. Familiar with RF EDA simulation tools like AWR Microwave Office and Advance Design System (ADS) will be an advantage.

. Experience in RF component and system characterization, performance verification, testing and integration.

. Familiar with use of PCB CAD tool (Altium/Orcad) for schematic creation.

. Hands on experience with linear, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
