Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the risk governance framework and processes to ensure that relevant risk management frameworks and policies are in place and maintained in a timely manner
- Drive initiatives to discover, assess and report on new and existing risk matters
- Perform risk & control assessments on various processes to articulate and explain the risk to management as well as propose mitigating controls to reduce the risk
- Maintain oversight on major operational risk incidents to ensure proper corrective actions, identify root causes and drive effective preventive actions
- Work across all levels of the organisation to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both strategic and business levels
- Manage Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management
Job Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of Risk Management experience in a Financial Institution (Experience in a Digital Asset / Cryptocurrency firm is advantageous)
- Prior experience in Big 4 consulting firms with exposure to Digital Asset space
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Good understanding of operational risk management processes and controls
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage and resolve issues
