Job Title: Roofer
Location:Multiple locations
Working Hours:9am 6pm (6 days/week)
Salary: Up to $2,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new roofs, ensuring proper alignment, water tightness, and durability.
- Repair damaged roofs by replacing or patching materials, including shingles, tiles, and metal sheets.
- Conduct roof maintenance to prevent leaks and other damage.
- Inspect roofs for any signs of wear and tear, determining the need for repairs or replacement.
- Work with a variety of roofing materials, including asphalt, metal, tile, and rubber.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while working at heights.
- Ensure all installations meet local building codes and standards.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand roofing needs and provide solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using roofing tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and roof plans.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
- Strong understanding of roofing safety practices.
- Basic understanding of construction principles.
Working Conditions:
- 6-day work week (including weekends when required).
- Working outdoors under various weather conditions (hot sun, rain, etc.).
- Physically demanding role that involves lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
