Safety Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities

. Comply and assist in implementing the requirements of the WSH Act and all its subsidiary and statutory legal legislations.

. Inspection of site daily and take appropriate corrective actions, prepares inspection report for project team to take an immediate action.

. To investigate accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences & put up reports & recommend remedial actions.

. Conduct in-house safety orientation for all new joiners to the site, and also conduct daily tool box meeting.

. Inspect project sites to ensure safety measures are being carried out at all times.

. To conduct risk assessment and identify safety hazards on site

. Work closely with WSHO and safety personnel to ensure safety are compliance

. Any ad-hoc job assigned by superior

. To participate in mass safety talk, tool box meeting and
housekeeping.

Requirements

. WSQ in Workplace Safety and Health.

. WSQ Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.

. Minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

. Knowledge of ISO and OSHA safety standard.

. Team oriented, attentive to details and organized.

. A fast worker who is able to deliver under tight timelines.

. Able to start work immediately or within short notice
