Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety and health inspections to eliminate unsafe acts, conditions, and occupational risks in the workplace.
- Recommend practicable measure, document and report infringements, including photographic evidence, to management and relevant personnel.
- Implement and monitor risk control measures effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Civil Defence Force Fire Safety Bureau regulations by carrying out fire hazard inspections within the premises.
- Develop and review safe work procedures and Risk Assessments.
- Assist in preparing and submitting safety and health documents to relevant authorities.
- Investigate workplace incidents involving employees, prepare preliminary reports, and support work injury compensation claims and reporting.
- Conduct Workplace Safety and Health Committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Arrange necessary safety and health orientation courses and related training for workers.
- Enhance safety awareness by organizing promotional activities such as safety posters, bulletin boards, videos, and exhibitions.
- Conduct safety training sessions to improve workers safety consciousness and knowledge.
- Maintain and update safety, health, and BizSAFE documentation (if applicable).
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in safety coordination.
- Possess qualifications recognized by MOM.
- MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- Completed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) course.
- Trained in EHS management systems, such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
- Strong knowledge of MOM regulations.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- A team player who is results-oriented, independent, and possesses good coordination skills.
