RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the site by implementation of ESH programs and managing ESH hazards.
Manages the MOC (Management of Change) process, database and supports process hazard analysis (PHA) & assessments.
Implements applicable WSH regulations and Evonik ESH rules, requirements and ESH Culture Framework and ensure a Safe working environment including auditing and regular walk through.
Supports incident investigation
REQUIREMENTS
Education, Certification or relevant experience required:
Bachelor in Engineering with about 1-3 yrs experience working in Chemical Industry
Fresh graduate with relevant internship experience in process safety will be considered
Additional skills and abilities required for this position:
knowledge of chemical plant and/or process engineering as well as ESH compliance programs
good knowledge about processes to identify, assess and manage risks and hazards (MOC, PSSR, PHA etc.)
basic knowledge about process hazard consequence and effects modelling
knowledge of tools like RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 5M, Fishbone, Human Factor Analysis, Human Error Failure Analysis
knowledge about process safety management programs and details for implementation
general knowledge of WSH management system e.g. risk management, permit to work, LO-TO etc.
high degree of interpersonal and team working skills
good Communication and presentation skills
List machines, tools, equipment, and others used in the performance of the duties.
Computer, including Microsoft office
Unique working conditions: Outline specific physical, environmental, or unique conditions associated with the position.
Office work
Field work in chemical plant environment
Field work includes wearing of protective clothing and equipment
