Responsible as EHS department document controller to manage document related to EHS department
Maintaining EHS management system documents and ensuring enforcement
Monitoring and reporting EHS performance on a regular basis, including timely incident investigations and reporting
Liaise with authorities and ensure all required legal documents submitted comply with the relevant authorities requirement e.g. MOM, SCDF, NEA etc.
Disseminating and implementing updates to the onsite team on the WSH Act, environmental and other legal requirements
Advise on-site team to discharge their statutory duties under the WSH Act. Assist the team in the identification of workplace safety and health and environmental risks and in recommending and implementation of the necessary control measures
Qualifying contractors and suppliers in order to ensure that they comply with company's site environmental, health and safety standards and policies.
Reviewing and identifying safety competency training for site staff on safe work practices and procedures
Coordinate & conduct safety briefing, induction & training
Enforce & promote safety rules & regulations at workplace
Conducting and review risk assessments and aspect and impact analysis, the recommendation of safety measures, safe work procedures and environmental matters
Conducting environmental, health and safety audits for site operations and recommending continual improvements
Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirement
Minimum Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment as stipulated in the Singapore Ministry of Manpower's accepted WSH-related qualifications
Successfully completed a course in relation to WSH Officer (i.e. Safety Officer Training Course)
Possess internal auditing skill on ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
Detailed understanding and knowledge on WSH Act, environmental & other legal requirements
Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM for at least 3 years
Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
