Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, policies, frameworks, and systems for Workplace Safety ,Health and Environmental (WSHE), fostering a proactive, preventive, and analytical approach to work procedures, risk assessments, and safety evaluations.
Monitor and enhance the company's overall WSHE performance by regularly reporting and analyzing safety statistics, initiatives, and performance, communicating key workplace safety information, and conveying outcomes.
Cultivate a robust safety culture within the organization through structured programs, safety training, staff briefings, safety awareness events and engagement of key stakeholders in addressing operational concerns related to WSHE matters.
Develop, revise, and review relevant policies, procedures, and programs associated with WSHE.
Conduct routine visits, inspections, and assessments at operational sites to evaluate safety risks and provide guidance to mitigate such issues.
Offer guidance and training to site teams on incident investigation techniques and Root Cause Analysis, facilitating the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Serve as the primary liaison during regulatory inspections
Contribute the implementation evidence to the company's system certification audits, namely ISO, BizSafe and other applicable certifications as required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment
MOM registered WSHO.
Minimum 3 years of practical experience as WSHO in building & construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of WSHE legislation, regulations, and best practices.
Familiar with construction site safety inspections and regulations
