We are seeking an Account Manager to join our supportive sales team. This role will suit someone who is highly motivated and well-organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You will have a positive attitude, be a strong team player with a desire to learn and work hard and be able to adapt to a changing environment while working accurately to meet deadlines.
Package Includes: Basic $2,500-$3,000 + KPI Incentives (Up to $2,000) + AWS
Responsibilities
Account Retention:
- Ensuring business retention of existing cross border accounts and further penetration
- Monitoring and analyzing key accounts shipping trends/volume and revenue sustainability
- Providing consistent updates to management on areas of improvement for sales performance
- Proactive negotiation with clients on contractual rates to ensure business retention
- Maintain positive relationships with existing merchants as the main touchpoint and attend to their needs Provide solutions and resolve issues professionally and promptly
Account Development:
- Source for new opportunities and cross-selling of product mix Import & Export
- To handle all incoming international delivery leads
- Work on International inbound and outbound leads diligently
- Uncovering new areas of business opportunities and having a sustainable pipeline strength of 20% vs plan
- Provide weekly updates on pipeline strength and progress of potential opportunities
- Reporting of weekly activities with clients (visits/calls & meetings)
- Having a good collaboration with internal business units- stakeholders to deal with clients issues/challenges and concerns appropriately
- Accountability to deliver ad-hoc projects/tasks that have been assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in an Account Manager role. Relevant experience in ecommerce logistics and cross-border ecommerce is an added advantage
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge in eCommerce/international logistics and/or parcels will be highly advantageous
- A self-motivated, result-oriented individual, passionate about sourcing new business
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful with the ability to work well independently or in groups
- Strong networker & relationship builder and highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environment
