Our Client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their team, focusing on laboratory consumables. This role is responsible for managing client accounts, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the laboratory and scientific research sectors. The ideal candidate has a background in life sciences, chemistry, or a related field, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, provide product support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, product information requests, and resolving issues promptly.
- Sales Growth: Identify new sales opportunities, meet revenue goals, and promote a range of consumable lab products to expand market presence.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Product Knowledge and Support: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of laboratory consumables, offer clients technical guidance on product selection and keep updated on new products and industry trends.
- Reporting: Track client interactions, sales activities, and provide insights into market trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in laboratory consumables or related scientific products.
- Exposure to wide range of laboratory consumables brands is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience selling to laboratory or research-based organizations preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in laboratory environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve targets.
