Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service Excellence
- Greet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
- Provide personalized product recommendations and answer customer queries.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate as necessary.
2. Sales and Product Promotion
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Actively promote ongoing sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers.
- Stay informed about product details, new arrivals, and trends to enhance sales efforts.
3. Store Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Assist with restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring proper product placement.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and manage cash handling.
4. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to the store manager.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Ensure proper handling and care of merchandise.
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Support new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Communicate customer feedback and suggestions to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail or customer service experience in a retail or FMCG industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and energetic personality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts and commit to 5-day work-week including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and handling cash transactions.
