Overview
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for the prospecting and developing of sales relationships and building pipelines of potential clients. Confident in planning activities and formulating strategies to find the next sale. They should also be comfortable with cold calling and on-ground sales activities.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a hunter who looks forward to an attractive compensation structure with performance rewards.
Candidates should preferably have some experience with HR solutions and services, and have direct leads to key decision makers of SMEs that can be readily tapped on.
A successful candidate is also expected to recruit, develop and lead a new team of sales executives.

Performance Objectives
- Determine prospective customers need for Payroll Outsourcing, Advisory, HR Tools or Employee Handbook Solutions
- Prepare and present proposals with close follow-ups throughout the sales process
- Close the sale
- Maintain relationships with clients to determine needs for additional services or solutions
- Initiative to develop prospects through cold calling, tradeshows, referrals, door-to-door engagement and any other relevant sources for sales prospecting
- Achieve agreed sales quota and expectations
Skills & Experiences
While these are the preferable expectation, junior or senior candidates may be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience
- Previous sales experiences with SMEs, HR Solutions or payroll related services
- Proven sales ability and track-record
- Customer service orientation
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good time management
- Strong critical thinking and decision making skills
- Able to handle objections and unexpected situations that may arise in the sales process
- Able to handle sales rejections
