Sales Coordinator & Support - APAC - Maritime Technology industry
Executive Search - Our client is a Maritime / Shipping Technology company in Singapore: We are seeking a dedicated and results driven Sales Coordinator / Support to be responsible for supporting the APAC sales team to drive sales growth and revenue (Inside sales type of role). The ideal candidate will have experience with internal sales support from maritime industry, excellent communication skills and attentive to details.
Key Responsibilities:
. In cooperation with sales team, participate in developing and implementing sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
. Support in Identifying sales leads and prioritizing key accounts and opportunities within the marine industry, fostering relationships for long-term partnerships.
. Help build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
. Support the sales team in making sales presentations, proposals and research.
. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective communication and coordination of sales activities.
. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
. Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
. Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.
. Ensuring that orders are correctly updated in the system, close dialog with our operation tams when handing over orders.
. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
. Work closely with the Inside sales team in HQ to ensure synchronization in marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
. University degree - could be bachelor's or master's degree.
. 2 to 10 years of sales Coordination, sales support, or Inside Sales experience
. Preferable from Maritime industry.
. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is important) and CRM software.
. Organised and attentive to details.
. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
