Sales Director - APAC
Location: Singapore (Regional Role with Travel)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Director - APAC to lead our sales efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving strategic growth, managing key accounts, and building high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the coatings, adhesives, or specialty chemicals industries and a deep understanding of the APAC market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the APAC region to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Identify new market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and drive business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and supply chain, to align on strategic goals and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all sales operations.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and regional economic conditions to adapt strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A master's degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the coatings, adhesives, or specialty chemicals sectors.
- Proven track record of managing regional sales teams and achieving significant revenue growth in the APAC market.
- Deep understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and business nuances within the region.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region to engage with clients and teams.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional APAC languages is a strong advantage.
