The successful candidate will take the responsibility to manage and accelerate the growth of our Marine business in Singapore. He or she will be tasked with leading the local Marine team to grow our position in the market by acquiring new customers and increasing our share of wallet from current customers.
The key activities are:
Develop strategic plans for the Singapore Marine segment and execute actions to deliver sales, profitability, and collection targets.
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers while partnering with them to align with their business objectives.
Grow our share of wallet from existing customers by providing excellent products and services and ensuring Customer Experience.
Develop Sales Excellence and instill discipline within the sales team by maximizing the use of CRM tools in building a robust project pipeline and by reviewing opportunities with cadence to increase win rates.
Accelerate the growth of advantaged products especially foul-release coatings, premium antifouling, and tank coatings.
Expand customer base via the new account development strategy.
Manage the productivity of the sales team by engaging and empowering them to achieve and exceed their targets through Big Bets and focused segments.
Work closely with global and regional teams to improve chances in winning cross-border projects and opportunities.
Build up owner excellence development for marine commercial teams of South Asia.
Set up the pipeline review cadence to accelerate the business growth in focused segments in South Asia.
Requirement:
A degree in business or a related field is required.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the maritime industry.
Previous experience demonstrated strong track record in sales.
Excellent business acumen and development skills.
Strong collaboration skills in a global matrix organization.
Strong sense on people engagement.
