Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and sales within a fast-paced engineering environment. You can expect to run around and set meetings with potential clients to sell our technology. WFH is permitted and you'll only have to come in to the office once a week.

Key Responsibilities

1.Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for growth.

- Analyze competitors and industry landscape to understand challenges and opportunities.

2.Lead Generation:

- Identify and generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, social media, and industry events.

- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and business opportunities.

3.Relationship Building:

- Establish and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.

- Engage with existing customers to understand their needs and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

4. Proposal Development:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored proposals or pitches for potential clients.

- Ensure proposals align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

5. Negotiation and Closing:

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.

- Work to close deals and ensure successful onboarding of new clients.

6. Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine business development strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.

- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.

7. Collaboration with Corporate Administration:

- Work closely with both Corporate Administration team to align business development efforts with corporate marketing campaigns and branding strategies.

- Provide feedback on market reactions to products, services, and marketing strategies to refine approaches.

8. Networking and Representation:

- Attend relevant conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads.

- Engage in relevant activities to build industry presence and reputation.

9. Customer Insights:

- Gather and analyze feedback from clients to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.

- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization to inform product development and service delivery.

10. Collaboration with Research & Development team:

- Provide input based on market research and customer feedback to guide product/service development or enhancement.

- Ensure that the company's offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demands.

11. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

- Monitor and report on business development activities, leads, and progress toward targets.

- Analyze data related to sales growth, market trends, and customer engagement to inform future strategies.

12. Training and Development:

- Train and mentor junior team members or new hires on best practices related to business development strategies and techniques.

Qualifications

. ITE and Poly graduates with technical experience is a plus

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Excellent organizational and time-management skills

. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

. Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus.
